All I have to say about this game is "STOLEN CONCEPT".
Check this one out. It's by the original author and the animations and drawings are way better. http://www.flashplayer.com/games/sti...epenalty2.html It was submitted in 2003. Last edited by johnnytoshoes; 05-21-2006 at 01:40 PM. |

Uhm, Hi, I'm Dann Demazure, and I'm the guy who made A True Stick Death, I just wanted to say that I made this animation wayyyy back in 2001, and it first appeared on SFDT.com, A True Stick Death 2 can still be found on that site with a date that goes way back to 2002. It's cool to see people still enjoying my content 5 years after it was made.
And to johnnytoshoes, as said above, I made this animation a very long time ago along with it's sequel. You can find my work on alot of other sites at a much older date. I didn't copy anyones content, but basically, the idea of killing a stick figure has been copied about 3 billion times, and if you think Iget mad when I see someone making a "choose your stick death" animation, I don't. Each one is different and therefore appeals to a different audience, which is good. Would you give hell to the people who made the Mission Impossible movies for copying James Bond? No! It's just re-hash on the super-agent genre. As mine was just my take on stick death. Anywho! If anyone wants to argue with my logistics just drop a post, I'll be here to talk. Might as well give a listing of the rest of my work. http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/sea...kind=a&x=0&y=0 http://www.sfdt.com/flash/movies/2465.html Here's the listing on SFDT, which dates back to 2002, and is also top 30th of all time (ask Matt Calvert, it was #1 for several months believe it or not) Here's every other movie I have on SFDT http://www.sfdt.com/search-movies/in...=1&zoom_sort=0 Oh and just to add-on to this, I havn't animated in well over a year (at least released anything) and I have no sort of agenda to advertise my work, just defending any "copying" accusations. I apologize, I just saw this release date and had just recently played Stick Death Penalty Chamber so I thought it was a stolen concept. Obviously, I was mistaken.
Sorry. |

Hey, it's cool, don't worry about it, I get the accusation often and it's understandable because it's a common stick figure theme.
