CoD2, CoD4, and hopefully MW2 are perhaps the greatest three FPS's ever.

Agreed. + CoD5 should be renamed "Nazi Zombies".

Out of all FPS's, I would have to say, that while the CoD's are definitely up there, many are better. Case in point: Doom, Wolfenstein, Borderlands, plus Shattered Horizon looks amazing, and I want it.
