One really should get permission from the original author but there's really no way we mods or the admins can prove that they did.

The porn was taken off over a year ago. The removal of all the movies and animations happened a few months ago.

As long as the user gave a link back or mentioned the original author then it's alright.

In a way, there has always been a lack of games. From time to time, I hear complaints about how user's games didn't get through. They were supposed to get an email regarding the submission and whether it got passed or rejected. For almost all of them, it never came. Also, the decision to take off the movies and animations on here was a terrible idea and now there's less content.

The challenges are one-of-a-kind. HP used to offer $50 to anyone who put the highscore API on their games. It was a great promotion but it quietly went away and nobody knows why.

They aren't necessarily dead but they aren't as active as they used to be. And it would be great if you could get some people to join!
